Product description

Common use

Contractubex gel is used to improve the appearance of scars from surgery, burns, or injuries. It helps enhance scar texture and elasticity, aiding the skin’s natural healing process. This gel is suitable for hypertrophic and keloid scars.

Dosage and direction

Ensure the scar area is clean and dry before application. Apply a thin layer of the gel to the scar as directed by the doctor. Massage gently until the gel is fully absorbed. If dealing with a larger scar or harder scar tissue, consider using an occlusive dressing overnight after applying the gel.

Precautions

Patients with cutaneous diseases should exercise caution when using this medication. Patients with severe burns or deep wounds should also consult their doctor before use.
It is advised that pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before using Contractubex.

It is not advised for patients with active bleeding disorders or those with low platelet counts. Patients with severe liver or kidney disease are also advised against using this medicine.

Possible side effect

Contractubex gel may have the following common side effects: Skin irritation; Redness; Itching; Rash; Burning sensation; Folliculitis (inflammation of hair follicles, which can cause small, red, and sometimes itchy or painful bumps).

If you forget to apply Contractubex gel at the scheduled time, use it as soon as you remember. But if you remember when it's nearly time for the next application, skip the missed dose. Continue with your normal routine and never double up on doses without speaking to your doctor.
