This injection is also used in newborns to prevent bleeding disorders. It supports the production of clotting factors needed to stop bleeding.

Dosage and direction

The injection should be administered either subcutaneously, intramuscularly, or intravenously by a doctor. If given intravenously, it should be administered very slowly at a rate not exceeding 1 mg per minute. Avoid self-administration; always have this injection administered under medical supervision. Precautions

Missed dose
